Babatunde Michael Could Be Forced Out Of Ukraine Over Visa
Published: April 17, 2013
Super Eagles invitee and Kryvbas winger Michael Babatunde could be clubless even before the end of the season, according to reports in Ukraine.
Ukrainian website FootBoom.com says Kryvbas are facing serious financial problems and do not have the funds to renew the work visas of the foreign players including Michael Babatunde.
In the next few weeks, middle of May, if the leadership of Kryvbas does not renew the documents of the foreign players, coach Oleg Taran would have to rely on the players with Ukrainian passports.
In line with the current legislation, Michael Babatunde will have to leave Ukraine since he does not have a permit.
For the past three months, Babatunde and his teammates have not been paid their wages and bonuses.
Michael Babatunde has been named in Nigeria's provisional squad for the Fifa Confederations Cup. He has made 2 starts in the Ukrainian championship this term.
