Exclusive:No Inter Milan Contract For Saddam Auta,Now Training With Sampdoria
Published: April 18, 2013
The dream of highly rated teenager Saddam Auta Michael plying his trade with Serie A giants Inter Milan is now an illusion.
The Black and Blues did not offer the 18 - year - old striker a contract after two weeks of tests.
Michael, who has been hailed as Nigeria's Carlos Tevez, could still play in Italy as he is currently in Genoa training with another top flight club Sampdoria.
''It is unfortunate the Inter Milan deal did not work out.
''I am now training with Sampdoria and by the grace of God I will sign with them as things are looking positive,''the product of Kaduna based academy, El-Cruzero told allnigeriasoccer.com:
Saddam Michael had been linked with clubs in England earlier in the season, but the red tape rule in the United Kingdom made it impossible for the move to materialize.
