Exclusive: Anthony Ujah: Cologne Want Me To Stay
Published: April 22, 2013
The future of Super Eagles invitee Anthony Ujah is far from being resolved.
The 22 - year - old forward is spending the season at Cologne, who loaned him from parent club Mainz.
Anthony Ujah has blossomed at the Billygoats, netting 11 goals in 24 appearances in Germany's second tier which has aided the club's push for promotion.
Logically, Cologne want to retain the services of the former Lillestrom ace at the end of the season.
But the possibility of that happening is minimal except they get promoted to the Bundesliga.
''At the moment, finishing the season good with Cologne is what I am focusing on.
''What I know is Cologne want me to stay. At the end of the season, I'll see what happens,'' Ujah simply told allnigeriasoccer.com.
He has a contract with Mainz until the end of the 2014 - 2015 season. Transfer market experts value him at around 1.75 million euros.
