Bundesliga club Wolfsburg have joined the race for in -demand Torino central defender Angelo Ogbonna, says Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Wolfsburg, backed by car manufacturers Volkswagen, have not impressed this season and are just above the relegation spots.
And that is why the leadership of the club are planning moves for reinforcements in the summer transfer market.
One of the candidates tipped to arrive Wolfsburg is Italy international Angelo Ogbonna, who has been watched several times this season.
But with Ogbonna under contract with Torino until 2016, he won't come cheap.
In addition, some of Europe's elites are on his trail and that includes Liverpool, Manchester United, AC Milan, Roma, Napoli and Juventus.
It promises to be a bidding war for Ogbonna's signature when the market re - opens in the next few months.
