Kenya Coach Names Local Players For Nigeria Clash

According to reporting by michezoafrika.com, Harambee Stars head Coach Adel Amrouche has named a 25 member squad of locally based players that will commence training on the 27th of April in Nairobi.
Notably, coach Amrouche has dropped defender Edwin Wafula on disciplinary grounds after the player elbowed a Chemelil FC player during a recent match.
The Kenya national soccer team has landed an invite to take part in the COSAFA tournament scheduled for 6th to the 21st of July but of immediate concern is the FIFA world Cup qualifier return leg match against Nigeria in Nairobi.
Goalkeepers Wilson Obungu and Martin Musalia make a comeback to the team while Ben Baraza of Sony Sugar makes a debut appearance in the national team.
Ali Bhai, Abdul Latif Omar both from Bandari and Thika United duo of David King’atua and Kennedy Otieno also make an appearance in the squad.
