John Ogu Starts Individual Training
Published: April 26, 2013
One - cap Nigeria international John Ugochukwu Ogu attended Academica training for the first time in three weeks on Friday morning.
The central midfielder had been on the sidelines after he suffered a relapse of a knee injury early April.
He reportedly underwent minor surgery to repair the damage according to local media.
John Ogu, who is thought to have impressed in his debut for the Super Eagles despite his cameo appearance against Kenya last month, had an individual session with the club's physiotherapist, Miguel Rocha.
It is almost certain that the ex Drava Ptuj star will miss Sunday's game with Moreirense as he is yet to attain maximum fitness.
Without John Ogu in the squad, Academica have lost their last three games and are fighting for Primeira Liga survival.
