Emmanuel Emenike Out For At Least Two Months
Published: April 30, 2013
Head coach of Spartak Moscow, Valery Karpin has told the press in Russia that Nigeria striker Emmanuel Emenike will be out of action for at least two months.
Recall that the 25 - year - old had to be stretchered from the pitch against Anzhi on Sunday after damaging knee ligaments.
Soviet Sport quoted Valery Karpin as saying: (Emenike, ed) had a relaxed game and got after lateral ligament tear of the knee.
''Now we can say that's probably not worth going to his joint, but because he could get hurt, and in a more simple episode.
''He will miss about two months.''
In the coming days, Emmanuel Emenike will undergo arthroscopic surgery.
