Chinedu Ede Undergoes Surgery For Appendicitis

26 - year - old Mainz offensive midfielder Chinedu Ede underwent a surgery for appendicitis on Monday, the official website of the Bundesliga club, mainz05.de has reported.
At the moment, it is unclear when Ede would return to the pitch but he could be out of action for the rest of the season as the league is scheduled to go on recess in two weeks time.
Ede, who is under contract with Mainz until June 2016, has made 8 appearances in Germany's topflight as a substitute.
With 40 points from 31 matches, it is a sure-banker that Mainz will play in the Bundesliga next season.
