In-form John Ibeh Scores In Third Consecutive Game
Published: April 30, 2013
Pandurii Târgu Jiu midfielder John Ibeh is having probably his best season since he arrived Romania six years ago from Dutch club Door Wilskracht Sterk.
With 7 goals in 13 matches , John Ibeh's statistics are very impressive as his season has been blighted by injuries.
In fact a muscle injury kept him out of action for more than six months and he only returned to the pitch on April 12 against CFR Cluj.
''I have really suffered from injuries this season and it usually takes a long time to get back to your best post - injury.
''I give thanks to God for everything, for making me stronger when I started playing again.
''When you have God in your life, you always believe that anything will be possible,'' a philosophical Ibeh told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
The 27 - year - old will become a free agent in the summer if he does not extend his stay in Gorj County.
''I don't know for now if I'll continue with Pandurii. I am still thinking of what to do,'' Ibeh said.
John Ibeh has scored in each of his last three games in the Romanian championship, including his strike against Gloria Bistriå£a on Monday.
