Adeleye, Afolabi May Be Suspended For Six Months
Published: April 30, 2013
According to sport-express.ru with reference to the official website of the Russian Premier League, rus.rfpl.org Kuban Krasnodar has excluded from its squad two Nigerian internationals - Dele Adeleye and Abdulwaheed Afolabi.
Adeleye and Afolabi were sent to the reserve team of Kuban despite having first team contracts.
As a result, both players unilaterally terminated their contracts with the club.
Abdulwaheed Afolabi played two games for the youth team while Adeleye, who joined the side in the winter transfer market, did not play an official match.
The two players may be suspended for 6 months by football's regulatory body, Fifa except they can prove that it was expressly stated in their contracts that they can not train with the youth team.
