John Chibuike Is Back In The Good Books Of Rosenborg

Last month, Rosenborg midfielder John Chibuike was in the news for the wrong reason after he refused to warm up in the Premier League match against Solomon Owello's IK Start.

Though the club queried him for his behavior, this has not affected his performances for the Scandinavia powerhouse.

The 24 - year - old  was on target on Saturday against table toppers Aalesund in the seventh round of matches in the Eliteserien.

'' I am so happy to score again, and this goal was the result of teamwork. This is something we have done in the exercise several times, and I remembered where I was standing.

''Sometimes life is difficult, but one must always try to be happy. So one must take opportunities that arise, and work hard,''  Chibuike was quoted as saying by aftenposten.no.

John Chibuike has flourished more in the cup than the league. He bagged a hat-trick against Buvik on April 17.
