Exclusive: Uche Kalu To Sign Three - Year Deal With Rizespor; Enyimba To Pocket =N=81 Million

Newly promoted Super League side Rizespor will continue their collaboration with Nigeria international Uche Kalu.

Even though Kalu spent roughly half a season with Rizespor, officials of the club are delighted with his contribution to the team and want to acquire him outright from Nigeria heavyweights Enyimba of Aba.

''It is true Rizespor terminated Uche Kalu's contract when he got injured to free a space for another foreign player.

''But the club has the buy option, I was with him on Sunday in the stands when they played 1461 Trabzon.

''Rizespor will pay 400,000 euros this month to Enyimba to sign him on a permanent basis. Inserted in the contract is a 30 percent sell on clause.

''When Uche Kalu got injured, the club  took care of him. He had an operation in the best hospital  and continued his rehabilitation in the best hotel in Istanbul,'' a source close to Uche Kalu told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Uche Kalu WILL sign a three - year contract with Rizespor immediately the transfer market opens in the coming weeks.

Before injury cut short his season,  Uche Kalu netted 9 goals in 12 First League matches.
