According to reporting by one.co.il, Sporting Director of Maccabi Tel Aviv, Jordi Cruyff has beamed his searchlight on Nigeria international Dele Aiyenugba as possible replacement for Vincent Enyeama, who is set to leave the Yellows at the end of the season.
Cruyff's priority is to sign a foreign goalkeeper who will be the number one custodian in the 2013 - 2014 campaign.
In the coming weeks, Maccabi Tel Aviv plan to start negotiations with Bnei Yehuda to land the signature of Aiyenugba.
Dele Aiyenugba, 29, put pen to paper on a new two - year contract with Bnei Yehuda last May. His asking price could be around 600,000 euros according to transfer market experts.
Meanwhile, Maccabi Tel Aviv have thanked Vincent Enyeama for assisting the club win the Israeli championship, and wished him success at the Fifa Confederations Cup as well as the World Cup qualifying matches in June.
''We would like to thank Vincent for his enormous contribution to Maccabi Tel Aviv during the season and wish him luck Nigeria's national team this summer.
''In the coming weeks we will continue and we will follow developments on Enyeama,''the club stated on its official website.
