Imoh Ezekiel Rues Missed Chances
Published: May 17, 2013
Standard Liege striker Imoh Ezekiel netted his 16th goal of the season against Racing Genk on Thursday.
The 19 - year - old opened scoring for the away team after 19 minutes only for Julien Gorious to equalize for Genk just before the end of the first half.
''I'm happy with my goal. Can still be happy with a point, even if it is not enough.
''We had a lot of chances. For my part, I too missed tonight. I really should have had a second goal. To believe that the ball did not want to go in,'' Ezekiel told dhnet.be.
Following the 1 - 1 draw, the Reds occupy the fifth position on the log with 39 points, only a point behind fourth place Genk.
