General Director of Spartak Moscow, Roman Askhabadze has denied trending reports at home and abroad linking Nigeria striker Emmanuel Emenike with a switch to Fenerbahce in the summer transfer market.
Recall that one of Emenike's representatives, Erdem Konyar claimed that the Muscovites are in talks with the Yellow Canaries.
''Emenike is a football player of Spartak Moscow and is under contract. It is the same and still is.
''The club is not conducting negotiations on Emenike,'' Roman Askhabadze said to Russian football portal championat.com.
Emmanuel Emenike signed a contract with Fenerbahce in the summer of 2011 but left the Istanbul club without playing a single game following allegations he was involved in match fixing.
