Agent Hints Anthony Ujah May Remain With Cologne
Published: May 22, 2013
Perhaps, there is still a little glimmer of hope that Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah would remain at 2 Bundesliga outfit Cologne, the player's representative Bjorn Bezemer has told German media.
Just last weekend, manager Holger Stanislawski took everyone by surprise by announcing that he will quit the Billy Goats on June 30, 2013.
Cologne will need to replace their manager before thinking of extending the stay of Anthony Ujah, their top scorer this past season with 13 strikes.
''Sure it is like Tony will be in Cologne. But the resignation of the coach was a surprise for him.
''Certainly, there won't be any decision until the new coach is announced,'' Bjorn Bezemer told express.de.
Anthony Ujah, who is under contract with Mainz until June 2015, is being linked with a summer switch to Croatians Dinamo Zagreb.
