Maccabi Tel Aviv, Russian, Turkish Clubs Chase Toto Tamuz

Israeli - Nigerian striker Toto Tamuz is set to depart Hapoel Tel Aviv this summer. He became a free agent at the end of the just concluded season.
There was an offer of a contract renewal from the leadership of Hapoel Tel Aviv but the financial term of the proposed deal was not appealing to the striker.
The 25 - year - old is not lacking suitors as he has offers from clubs in Israel and unnamed clubs in Russia and Turkey.
One.co.il says Toto Tamuz is being courted by league champions Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa.
''Tamuz wants only Europe and he will. He will not return to Hapoel Tel Aviv and does not intend to stay in the Premier League with alluring offers from Maccabi Haifa,Maccabi Tel Aviv and not cause him to change his mind.
''Russia and Turkey want him and within 10 days we will know where Toto will be playing in the next two years,'' a representative of Toto Tamuz told one.co.il.
In three seasons spent with Hapoel Tel Aviv, Toto Tamuz netted 44 goals in 78 matches in the Israeli championship.
