Exclusive: Akeem Agbetu, Sani Gideon Pen One - Year Deals With TKI Tavsanli Linyitspor

Nigerian strikers Sani Gideon and Akeem Agbetu both penned one - year deals with Turkish First League side TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor on Tuesday, allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm.

Gideon is arriving the team based in Kütahya province on a season - long loan from top division Akhisar Belediyespor.

''I am happy to sign this contract. The most important thing for a footballer is to be happy wherever you find yourself so you can always be at your best.

''It's now my chance to prove to the management of TKİ Tavşanlı that they invested wisely in me.

''I will make sure the club perform well in the league. And why not we can be promoted to the Super League at the end of next season,'' Sani Gideon told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Ex Nigeria youth - teamer Akeem Agbetu, whose contract with TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor expired at the end of the just concluded season, has proved his loyalty to the club by inking a one - year contract.

Inserted into Akeem Agbetu's contract is the option of an additional season at the conclusion of the 2013 - 2014 campaign.

Gideon will be handed a jersey number in July when TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor start pre - season training while Agbetu will spot the number 80 shirt.
