UPDATED - Stanley Ihugba Unhappy With League Position
Published: May 30, 2013
25 - year - old Stanley Ihugba is unhappy with the league position of Ullensaker / Kisa in the Norwegian championship.
Sunday's 1 - 1 draw with Kongsvinger left Ullensaker / Kisa 14th on the 16 -team table with ten rounds of matches played in the second - tier.
''During pre - season, we hardly lost any of the matches played. We won 8 of the 11 matches and drew the rest.
''Our pre-season preparations were excellent. I am surprised we have been poor in the league so far,'' Ihugba said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Stanley Ihugba is confident Ullensaker / Kisa will soon start picking up points to enable the team compete for one of the play off spots.
''Relegation is not on our minds. The players and coaching staff have held meetings to remedy the situation.
''We remain strong and we shall keep fighting hard to start picking points now,'' said Ihugba.
The central midfielder has started 9 games this season, but is still searching for his first goal in the championship.
