Emmanuel Emenike: No Offer From Fenerbahce
Published: May 30, 2013
Emmanuel Emenike has distanced himself from reports linking him with a switch to Turkey vice champions Fenerbahçe in the summer transfer market.
''I am a professional footballer and I respect the club. I have a professional contract with Spartak Moscow until 2016.
''To date I have not received a formal offer. I cannot evaluate any proposal without the permission of my club,'' says the Nigeria international to Radyospor.
Though injury curtailed Emenike's progress at Spartak Moscow this past season, he has pledged his loyalty to the Muscovites, insisting that he is happy in the Russian capital.
''There is no plan to leave. However, Turkey has a special place for me. Did not hesitate to say it.
''If Spartak Moscow decides to transfer me, I will continue my career in Turkey,'' he stressed.
