Scunthorpe United On Brink Of Deal For Free Agent Chris Iwelumo
Published: June 01, 2013
The United Kingdom edition of Sky Sports says Chris Iwelumo has not renewed his contract with Watford and could be joining Scunthorpe United on a free transfer in a matter of days.
Chris Iwelumo, whom you can rightly call an ex Scotland international, is one of the top targets of manager Brian Laws in the summer transfer market.
Scunthorpe United have been demoted to England's fourth - tier and are keen to bolster the squad with the experienced Iwelumo .
Over a career that has spanned close to two decades, Scunthorpe United would be Iwelumo's 16th club if the transfer materializes.
