John Obuh Satisfied With Flying Eagles Performance
Published: June 02, 2013
John Obuh and his charges are still without a win after two rounds of matches played at the prestigious Toulon Tournament.
Against Belgium on Sunday afternoon, Alhaji Gero struck after 43 minutes to salvage a draw for the Flying Eagles. Earlier, Mpoku's 23rd minute goal had given the Europeans the lead.
In his post match comments to the official website of the tournament organizers, coach John Obuh said that he was satisfied with the performance of his boys.
''It was a good match. It was difficult because of the conditions and the wind but I am quite satisfied.
''At half time I told my players to go back and play because I know we did not play our game in the first 40 minutes.
''This game was really physical and I told my players to put the ball on the ground,'' Obuh said to festival-foot-espoirs.com.
