Oyo To Host NRA 2013 AGM

Oyo State has been confirmed as the host state for this year’s Nigeria Referee Association (NRA) Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for this weekend.
The national executives members of NRA and representatives from all states are expected to arrive at Lafia Hotel Ibadan on Friday 7th June ahead of the AGM slated for the following day at the House of Chiefs Government secretariat Ibadan.
A dinner, sponsored by the Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Babatunde Olaniyan, a retired grade one referee will also be held for the participants on Saturday evening.
Top on the agenda to be deliberated on according to the NRA’s public relation secretary, Serah Jumoke Adebisi is the review of the activities of the Nigerian referees in 2012/2013 soccer season, and a way forward.
“We shall deliberate on how we can foster a more good working relationship with our football governing body, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), especially on the issues bordering on welfare of our members, who deserved good working environment and conditions”, Adebisi noted.
She however, on behalf of NRA executives thanked the Oyo Deputy Speaker fora positive role played towards making the AGM a successful one.
