Coach Stephen Keshi Names Starting Eleven
Published: June 05, 2013
Super Eagles gaffer Stephen Keshi has named his starting eleven for the eagerly anticipated World Cup qualifier against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
As expected Lille custodian and skipper of the squad Vincent Enyeama is preferred in goal ahead of Austin Ejide.
Celtic utility defender Efe Ambrose will man the right full back position while Uwa Echiejile starts at left full back. The centre backs to provide cover for Enyeama are Godfrey Oboabona and Kenneth Omeruo.
Coach Stephen Keshi has kept faith with Sunday Mba, whose goals in international matches usually come in away games.
Chelsea star Obi Mikel and Lazio's Eddy Onazi will complement Mba in midfield.
Ahmed Musa, Brown Ideye and Nnamdi Oduamadi will lead the charge for goals.
