Nigeria Defeat Kenya To Top Group F

African champions, Super Eagles are now top of African World Cup qualifying Group F after they secured a 1 - 0 win over the Harambee Stars of Kenya on Wednesday.
CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa netted the only goal of the encounter played at the Moi Sports Center, Kasarani with less than 15 minutes to go.
Despite the hype surrounding the match especially from the Kenyans, Nigeria dominated possession and skipper Vincent Enyeama had little or nothing to do.
Nigeria, playing in their favorite green jersey, could have taken the lead as early as the second minute, Musa passing to Dynamo Kiev's Brown Ideye who missed from a glorious position in the eighteen year box.

And it did not come as a surprise when a slick counter attack by the Super Eagles resulted in the only goal of the match in the 81st minute, Ahmed Musa lifting the ball over the Kenya goalie, Duncan Ochieng.
In the other group game, Malawi were brought back to reality after they drew goalless with Namibia.
Nigeria, who have now moved two points clear of Malawi, face the Brave Warriors next Wednesday.
