Ex Nigeria Youth - Teamer Akeem Latifu Named Best Right Back In Norway
Published: June 07, 2013
Norway's biggest broadcaster TV 2 has selected Hodd right back and former Nigeria youth international Akeem Latifu in its Dream Team after the first ten matches in the Norwegian First Division, otherwise known as the Adeccoligaen.
Akeem Latifu, a gentleman on and off the pitch, has been one of the shining lights for the Norwegian Cup winners in the current campaign, starting and finishing all the games played in the championship.
The 23 - year - old right-back has added goalscoring to his collection of skills.
Despite being a defender, he is the highest goalscorer for Hodd with three strikes.
If Latifu continues with his impressive form, a move to one of the teams in the Norwegian Premier League can not be ruled out in the near future.
Hodd currently occupy the third position in the Adeccoligaen.
