Ahmed Musa: Victory Came After Hard Work
Published: June 07, 2013
CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa might have silenced his critics once and for all following his match winning performance in the World Cup qualifier against the Harambee Stars on Wednesday.
The 20 - year - old talent has admitted that the 81st minute strike against Kenya was his best goal in his career with the Nigeria selection.
Michezoafrika.com quoted Ahmed Musa as saying: ''Right from the word go it was an important game for the Super Eagles as we needed maximum points to better our chances of qualifying for world cup. We all went out for victory which came after hard work.''
Adding to his previous statement, the ex Kano Pillar said:
''Nigeria has very many established forwards but what matters is we all have to do our best whenever called upon.
''For me it doesn’t matter whether I have to start the match or come in as a substitute what matters is my input to the match.''
Ahmed Musa could add to his tally of five goals for the African champions if he scores against Namibia this coming Wednesday.
