AC Omonia On Brink Of Signing Suleiman Omo
Published: June 11, 2013
Cyprus powerhouse AC Omonia are on the brink of signing defensive midfielder Suleiman Omo.
The 27 - year - old is now a free agent after he agreed to terminate his contract with Greece Super League side Panionios last January because the club owed him backlog of wages.
Omonoianews.com writes on its website that the leadership of the Greens has sent Suleiman Omo a contract proposal.
AC Omonia had courted Omo last year but the player's transfer fee pulled the plug on a contract offer.
He previously defended the colors of teams in Montenegro (FK Mogren), Macedonia (FK Pobeda), Greece (Egaleo, Ilisiakos F.C. and Panionios).
