Ranti Martins has ended speculation about his future by signing a fresh one - year deal with I - League side Prayag United, the striker has exclusively informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
Since becoming a free agent at the end of last season, Martins, who has topped the goalscoring charts for the past three years, has been the subject of interest from other clubs in the Indian championship led by East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.
''I am playing one more season with Prayag United. I signed a contract with the team earlier this month.
''I promised that if I win a trophy in my first season with Prayag, I will stay with them for another year because the team have shown that they care for me and my family, ''Ranti Martins said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Martins's 26 goals played a vital role as Prayag United finished fourth in the championship in the 2012 - 2013 campaign.
The ex King Faisal Babes attacker has spent nine years in India.
