Suleiman Omo Fails AC Omonia Medical
Published: June 12, 2013
As reported by our colleagues at omonoianews.com, Cyprus heavyweights AC Omonia have decided not to offer Nigerian midfielder Suleiman Omo a contract after he failed a medical examination on Wednesday.
The leadership of Cyprus's most successful club has now turned its attention to other alternatives.
The news will come as a big blow to Suleiman Omo, who has been clubless for the past six months after he was released by Greece Super League side Panionios due to a pay dispute.
AC Omonia, who pay the wages of ex Flying Eagle Rasheed Alabi, had courted Omo for close to a year.
