Published: June 19, 2013
Guinea Bissau born Portugal Under 20 international Alberto Aladje is a major doubt for the clash against the Flying Eagles on Friday at Kadir Has ehir Stadıum (Kayseri).
The 19 - year - old striker, who is on the books of FC Aprilia in Italy, injured his right knee during training on Tuesday.
He now faces a late fitness test to determine his availability for the tie against the African bronze champions.
Defender Michael Gonçalves Pinto is confident of qualifying from the group which includes Nigeria, Cuba and Korea Republic.
A Bola quoted him as saying: '' We are confident of this game with Nigeria, we know it will be different from that we won in Toulon, given that we are in the World Cup.
''Our goal is to reach the knockout round, and then from there we can aspire to other matches.''
