Highly rated Nigerian youngster Kehinde Olanrewaju is on the brink of signing a two - year contract with Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.
The teenager impressed while with the Youth Team of the Yellows last season and has been rewarded for his outstanding display, with the club offering him professional terms.
''For now, I have not signed the contract. I just arrived Israel this morning and will resume training on Friday with Maccabi Tel Aviv. I am looking forward to the start of the league.
''If I am selected in the first team, I hope to do well like I did for the Under 19's.
''In fact, I want to surpass the ten goals I scored last season for the youth team,'' Olanrewaju told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Kehinde Olanrewaju is represented by Israeli agent Dudu Dahan, who also manages Nigeria and Celtic defender Efe Ambrose.
