Eagles Depart Brazil; Give Jerseys To Hotel As Parting Gift

The Nigeria delegation that represented Africa at the Confederations Cup departed Brazil on Monday afternoon, around 2 pm .
The team failed to qualify for the semi - finals of the tourney after the 3 - 0 loss to Spain in their last group game.
Manager Stephen Keshi is grateful to the supporters who cheered the Super Eagles from start to finish in the intriguing clash against the European opposition on Sunday.
''People screaming, supporting our team was phenomenal. All in Fortaleza was wonderful.
''We hope to return in the World Cup,'' says Keshi to globoesporte.com.
As a parting gift, the Nigeria delegation gave three autographed jerseys to the hotel staff in Fortaleza.
