Romanian Liga 1 club CFR Cluj have acquired Nigeria international Obiora Nwankwo outright from Parma, says club president Iuliu Muresan.

The light skinned defensive midfielder was bought as replacement for another African, Ivorian Bakary Sare, who has joined Dinamo Zagreb.
''Precisely for this reason I bought Obiora, who is officially our player. Sare is already in Zagreb,''prosport.ro citing Look TV quoted Muresan as saying.
Obiora Nwankwo, a member of the Super Eagles 2013 AFCON squad, recorded 7 appearances in the league last season.
