Exclusive - Agent Hints Odion Ighalo Won't Remain At Udinese
Published: July 06, 2013
On paper former Nigeria Under 20 National Team skipper Odion Ighalo will return to Udinese as his loan agreement with Granada expired at the end of the 2012 - 2013 season.
Atta Aneke, who represents Odion Ighalo, has strongly hinted that the future of his client is far from Udine, Italy.
The 24 - year - old's contract with Udinese will run out at the end of next season.
Hence , the Serie A side are likely to offload him, this time permanently, to recoup some of their investments.
''We are still talking to a few clubs that are interested in Ighalo. It is still unclear where he will be playing next season but we have concrete interest on him,'' says Atta Aneke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Norwegian - Nigerian agent is being secretive about the identities of the clubs wishing to sign Odion Ighalo in the summer transfer window.
''The clubs that have expressed interest in Ighalo would not want me to disclose their names.
''But they are from Russia, France, Spain, Turkey and England,'' adds Aneke.
Watford, Seville and FC Kuban Krasnodar are believed to be among the teams monitoring the transfer situation of Ighalo.
