<font size="3">New Waasland-Beveren recruit Chimezie Mbah claims he rejected offers from clubs in Israel before deciding to pitch his tent with the Belgium Pro League side.<br /><br />''I had concrete proposals from Maccabi Tel Aviv, Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona. But my agent Dudu Dahan wanted me to leave Israel to join Beveren.<br /><br />''I am delighted with the move to Beveren and plan to use the club as a stepping stone to a bigger team in Europe,'' Mbah told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />Mbah has contractual obligations with Waasland-Beveren until the end of the 2014 - 2015 season.<br /><br />He has been handed the number 20 jersey for the upcoming season.</font><br /><br />
