Ex Golden Eaglet, George White Agwuocha Pleased With Fine Start
Published: May 08, 2014
George White Agwuocha netted his fourth goal of the season in all competitions as Strømmen thrashed Asker 3 - 0 to qualify for the third round of the Norwegian Cup.
Eyeing an exit from the Norwegian First Division side in the nearest future, the former Golden Eaglet has declared that he will not take his foot off the pedal because he wants to attract the attention of bigger teams.
“The game was a good game, and I am happy I scored again after being named Man of the Match in our previous game.
“I know I have to continue doing well for my team so other clubs will come for me.
“I have been told this is the first time in 10 years Strømmen have qualified for the third round, so I am delighted to be part of this,” he told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation on Thursday evening.
He was previously on the books of Odd Grenland before Strømmen snapped him up on a permanent basis at the start of this season.
