Maccabi Netanya On Brink Of Deal For Gege Soriola
Published: May 10, 2014
According to Sports Walla, Free State Stars stopper Gege Soriola is in Israel where he is scheduled to hold discussions with Maccabi Netanya, the same club that pay the wages of Nigeria youth - teamer Kayode Olarenwaju .
For some time now, the First Division champions have been mulling over offering a contract to the Nigeria international.
And they have backed up that interest by inviting the 25 - year - old to Northern - Central Israel for negotiations.
Gege Soriola was way down manager Kinnah Phiri’s pecking order of central defenders this term even though he impressed in his first season at Charles Mopeli Stadium, chalking up 21 appearances in the Premier Soccer League.
What remains before Maccabi Netanya make an official announcement is for him to pass a routine medical.
