Official : Hope Akpan Out For Three Months

Contrary to earlier reports, Reading midfielder Hope Akpan will spend the next three months on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder while on international duty with Nigeria.
The two - cap Nigeria international had to be replaced in the second half of the Super Eagles 2 - 0 away win over Congo due to the injury.
“Everyone at the club would like to send Hope their best wishes for the quickest possible recovery,” Reading said in a statement posted on the official website.
This season, the 23 - year - old has suited up 12 times in the English Championship, chalking up 857 minutes of playing time in the process.
Super Eagles medics had earlier claimed that Hope Akpan will be out of action for just two weeks.
