Tottenham Hostpur Striker Nathan Oduwa Gains Valuable First Team Experience At Luton
Published: May 12, 2015
Tottenham Hostpur youth - teamer Nathan Oduwa has admitted he picked up some lessons during his loan spell with Luton Town.
Looking for a taste of first team football, the Anglo - Nigerian arrived the League Two club on transfer deadline day.
And he went on to make 11 appearances in the league before returning to Spurs in the first week of May.
“My first loan experience has been a big eye-opener, finding out what it’s like to be around a senior team on a matchday after a loss or a win, and I hope that in some way I’ve been able to contribute something positive to Luton’s season.
“There were some big learning points that I took from it. Sadly we didn’t make the play-offs but the fans were fantastic.
“I loved every minute of it and it was a good experience for me personally,” Oduwa told the official website of Spurs, tottenhamhotspur.com.
Oduwa has made two appearances for the Spurs U21s since his return to White Hart Lane, scoring twice against Manchester City’s EDS on May 4.
