Holidaying Odion Ighalo Confirms He Will Hit Super Eagles Camp On May 24
Published: May 21, 2016
Odion Ighalo has confirmed his availability for the upcoming Super Eagles friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg in Europe on May 27th and May 31st respectively.
After a tedious season, the Watford frontman and his beloved family are cooling off in Dubai, but he will have to cut his vacation short in the coming days to link up with his international teammates in Normandy.
“I am still in Dubai, I will be arriving camp for the friendlies on May 24th. I will go back to London before my trip to France,” Ighalo told allnigeriasoccer.com from the United Arab Emirates on Saturday.
In seven appearances for the senior national team, the Hornets number 24 has found the net two times, including his strike in the 3-0 rout of Cameroon in an international friendly held in Belgium last October.
With the absence of CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa, Ighalo is expected to spearhead the Super Eagles attack against Mali.
