Belgium Dazzler Eden Hazard Breaks World Cup Record Held By Super Eagles Star Etebo
Highly respected former Nigeria skipper Austin Okocha picked Chelsea dazzler Eden Hazard as his Man of the Match ahead of Kevin De Bruyne in Belgium's 2-1 win over Brazil in a quarterfinal clash of the World Cup on Friday and statistics seem to back him.

According to the stats gurus at OPTA, the Belgium number ten completed all ten of his dribbles against Brazil - the most dribbles attempted by a player with a 100% success rate in a World Cup match since 1966 when such statistics began to be conducted.

Prior to yesterday's match at the Kazan' Arena (Kazan'), Oghenekaro Etebo had completed the most dribbles in a single game at the 2018 World Cup, with nine attempted and nine completed in Nigeria's 2-0 loss to Croatia in their opening match in Group D on June 16.

Brazil star Neymar against Serbia and Spain ace Isco against Russia also racked up nine successful dribbles each for their respective teams in the ongoing tournament.

Etebo completed two dribbles in the Super Eagles second group match against Iceland and five against Argentina to finish the tournament with 16 dribbles to his name.
