Super Eagles Hopeful Eze Showing He's One For The Future With Another Goal For QPR
Published: July 10, 2018EFL Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers powered past Barnet 3-0
in their second pre-season fixture on Tuesday afternoon, with Nigerian
playmaker Eberechi Eze amongst the scorers.
The
former Arsenal youth-teamer netted his first goal in pre-season last
weekend as QPR played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Charlton
Athletic.
Eze chipped the ball over the
goalkeeper from 25 yards out to open the scoring for Queens Park Rangers
in the 26th minute, Matt Smith headed home the second in the 37th
minute before Chair completed the scoring on 84 minutes.
Whilst Eze was in action for 60 minutes, Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel was a second-half substitute.
Barnet attacking midfielder Fumnaya Shomotun looked lively following his introduction at half-time.
Eberechi
Eze scored 2 goals in 16 league appearances for Queens Park Rangers
last term and 5 in 20 games for loan club Wycombe Wanderers in the first
half of the season.
The Super Eagles hopeful was nominated for QPR's Young Player of the Year award in 2018.
