Iwobi Gives Reasons Why He Is Playing So Well At Arsenal This Season
Published: October 04, 2018Nigeria international Alex Iwobi attended a press conference with
Arsenal coach, Unai Emery shortly after the London team arrived in Baku
ahead of Thursday evening's Europa League match against Qarabag FK.
The winger, who is expected to start tomorrow, is enjoying a new
lease of life this season under the Spanish coach and ran the show when
he came off the bench to inspire the Gunners to a 2-0 win over Watford
last Saturday.
Being in such good form we'd definitely back Iwobi in an any time scorer prediction for the game tonight.
If the anytime goalscorer market is one you've not discovered yet see Footyaccumulators for more details as well as times for other players to score a goal.
Speaking to reporters in Baku, Iwobi was quoted as saying by
arsenal.com : ''This season I’ve been working a lot more on trying to
improve my finishing and also assisting my team-mates which is what I
believe someone in my position should do to get to the next level.
''I’ve been focusing on that and also in training I feel like my
team-mates have been giving me the freedom to express myself, as well as
the new boss.
''There’s no pressure or weight on my shoulders. I’m just enjoying
my football. The team is enjoying the new style and the new things we’ve
brought into training so it’s not just me that’s enjoying playing with
freedom, I’d like to say it’s not just me playing with freedom, it’s my
team-mates as well.''
Tomorrow's match will begin at 2055 hours local time at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan.
