Agent Explains Why Ex-Chicago Fire DP Igboananike Moved To Saudi Arabia
Published: January 20, 2019Kennedy Igboananike's transfer to Saudi Arabian Professional League outfit Al-Hazem has been completed following a successful medical.
Igboananike's long-standing agent Innocent Okeke has explained why his client opted to move to Saudi Arabia despite the fact he was courted by several teams in Scandinavia.
''Kennedy left Sweden because he wanted a new challenge and the offer from Saudi Arabia was very interesting,'' said Innocent Okeke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''He has a fantastic documented statistics in the Swedish League in each year and needs to try another league.
''He has signed a two-year deal with Al-Hazem and resumed training immediately.''
For the remainder of the 2018-2019 season, Igboananike will play with the number ten jersey at Al-Hazem.
The 29-year-old lists Djurgarden, Vasalund, AIK, Chicago Fire, DC United, Veria and Orebro SK among his former clubs.
