Kingsley Ehizibue Turns Down Move To Genoa After Undergoing Medical
Published: January 24, 2019Netherlands U21 international Kingsley Ehizibue has turned down a proposed move to Italian Serie A club Genoa, according to reports.
Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio says the right back has had a rethink about joining the Red and Blues and he's now back on the road to the Netherlands.
Genoa earlier reached an agreement with PEC Zwolle for the signing of the versatile defender with a transfer fee of three million euros being mooted.
Ehizibue was this morning at the Baluardo institute in Genova for his medical tests before pulling the plug on the proposed deal.
Apart from Genoa, SPAL and city rivals Sampdoria were also interested in the signing of the 23-year-old.
He has a contract with PEC Zwolle until June 30, 2020.
