U17 World Cup-Winning Winger Okonkwo Nets First-Ever Major League Soccer Goal
2015 U17 World Cup-winning winger Orji Okonkwo has scored his first-ever goal in Major League Soccer after spending 128 minutes on the pitch.

The Bologna loanee opened his goalscoring account in the American topflight as Montreal Impact recorded an impressive 3-1 road win against Orlando City in Florida on Saturday evening.

In the third game of the regular season, Okonkwo gave Montreal Impact the lead in the 14th minute when he fired home a close range effort after he was afforded too much time in the box.

He made his full MLS debut against San Jose Earthquakes and also started the match day two fixture vs Houston Dynamo.

Prior to his substitution in the 74th minute against Orlando City, he was very influential and was the top man in attempted shots and shots on target with seven and four respectively.

Montreal Impact will take on Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, March 30 in their first game after the international break.
