PFA Team Of The Season : Two Camberwell-Born Strikers Of Nigerian Descent Selected
Two Camberwell-born strikers of Nigerian descent have been selected in the Professional Footballers' Association Team of the Year for their respective divisions.

Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham is one of two Aston Villa players named in the PFA Sky Bet Championship Team of the Year and was chosen to lead the frontline in a 4-3-3 formation.

An England U21 international, Abraham has tallied 25 goals in 37 matches, and only Norwich City's Teemu Pukki has netted more than the one-time Nigerian Federation target this term.

The 21-year-old is currently sidelined by a shoulder injury but it is envisaged that he'll return to action for Aston Villa when they tackle Norwich City on the final day of the regular season.

Lincoln City star John Akinde has been named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year.

The goal poacher was vital as the Imps clinched the League Two title, scoring 15 goals in 43 appearances.

Abraham and Akinde will be honoured at the PFA's annual awards ceremony in London on Sunday, April 28.
