The Reason Chelsea Wing-back Moses Loan Move Has Not Been Confirmed By Inter Milan
Published: January 22, 2020Fenerbahçe have delayed the announcement of Victor Moses's loan move to Inter Milan, according to FC Inter 1908 making reference to Sky Sport Italia.
Having successfully passed a routine medical with the Serie A giants, the wing-back was expected to pen a loan contract for the remainder of the season with the Nerazzurri, with a buy-out clause of 12 million euros inserted into the deal.
But some bureaucratic details stipulate Fenerbahçe will first cut short his spell in Turkey, hand him over to parent club Chelsea who will now in turn sanction his move to San Siro.
Moses's contractual agreement with Fenerbahçe runs until June, but injuries and fitness issues have limited his appearances for the Yellow Canaries to just seven in all competitions so far.
Should the transfer go through, Inter will become the fifth club the 29-year-old has been loaned out to since his arrival at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2012, after previous stints at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham and Fenerbahce.
His contract with Chelsea runs out at the end of the 2020-2021 season.
