Official : Ipswich Town Loan In Ex-Tottenham Winger Bennetts From Borussia Monchengladbach
Published: October 02, 2020EFL League One club Ipswich Town have officially announced the signing of German-born winger of Nigerian descent Keanan Bennetts from Borussia Monchengladbach.
A product of the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, Bennetts has joined the Tractor Boys on loan for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season.
His transfer to Ipswich Town missed the registration deadline so he won't be available for selection in Saturday afternoon's clash with MK Dons.
"I'd like to have played tomorrow but that can't happen so I'd like to be involved as soon as possible," Bennetts said Ipswich Town's official webpage.
"The team are going really well so I will have to work hard but most importantly I want to do a job here that benefits the team and sees us collect as many points as possible."
The 21-year-old Bennetts will wear the number 17 jersey during his stay at Portman Road.
He has represented Germany and England youth teams and was on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation before last year's FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.
